Barcelona
The church of the Congregation of the Oratory of Barcelona founded in 1673 by Oleguer de Monserrat. During the Spanish Civil War the square, Placa Sant Filip Neri, a small and quiet square that holds this church, was bombed and the blast was so powerful that the houses there and the church received considerable damage.
The tradition of castellers (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtVhSlVadts) is a source of pride for Catalunya´s towns and villages. To commemorate this cultural treasure, Barcelona commissioned a sculpture to create an homage to human castles. Castells were declared by UNESCO to be among the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

Sagrada Familia
"My client is in no hurry." Anton Gaudi beleived that God had all the time in the world, so there was no need to rush the completion of the Catalan architect´s most ambitious work, the Sagrada Familia. Construction begun in 1882 and is unlikely to be finished before 2026. When the final stone is set in place, the Sagrada Familia will be the world´s tallest church, soaring 170 meters above the Catalan capital.

view from Park Güell
Park Güell is a public park system composed of gardens and architectonic elements located on Carmell hill in Barcelona. The par was designed by Gaudi. Gaudi planned and directed the construction of the park for 14 years for fo Eusebi Güell for a residential park intended for 60 family residences. The project however was unsuccessful and the park became city property. It remains one of Gaudi´s most colorful and playful works.
